Thanks to the success of MBT’s annual Yard Sale in September, the temple was able to take 26 MBT members and friends to a visit of the Chicago Botanic Gardens after service on Oct. 18.
Susan Kuse, a volunteer docent at the MBT Legacy Garden and docent at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, led the tour which included a visit inside the Japanese teahouse. The event included lunch and a bus ride to and from the Botanic Garden in Glencoe.
